Only allowed to protect 1.
Uncle Glenn will be a UFA anyways so no need to protect him, plus his age. Although BLM will also be UFA. Interesting off-season coming up. Have faith in Huff, if we lose one of our guys he'll find a replacement. He actually already has one on the team (on IR right now). Very skilled but a hot head so see how develops.

thanks for your answer. That sucks I would like the Stamps to be able to keep both especially because they have taken seasons to develop both Tate and Levi properly.
Is there a limit to how many players per team that Ottawa can scoop up?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_CFL_Expansion_Draft
Three draft rounds, one for import players, and two for non-imports. One player chosen from each team in each round, for a total of 24 players (8 import, 16 non-import) chosen.
The RedBlacks can choose a total of 2 QBs and 1 kicker/punter in the Expansion Draft, but no more than one from any single team.

Huf will defintely re-sign BLM and I am a 100% sure he will protect him over Drew Tate due to Tate's injury history. He will gamble that Ottawa will shy away from him. If I am RedBlacks GM, I will go after Drew Willy from the Riders. Then I will signa veteran QB like Kevin Glenn as a free agent to mentor or push Willy.

If I'm Kevin Glenn and I have a choice between signing with the Redblacks and the Stamps, I take the Stamps every single time, just for the familiarity and the far superior shot at a Grey Cup. I think if Huf wants him back, he'll get him back.

Burris might end up in Ottawa as a Free Agent as well.

You do realize Kevin Glenn and his wife own a Tim Horton’s in his hometown of Detroit. I don't know Kevin Glenn personally or anything but you gotta think that's going to be a major factor if and when he becomes a free agent to head back east because of that. Hamilton could be another destination with Henry Burris being a free agent at the end of the year as well.

It has been suggested that CGY can make a trade with OTT, to stay away from Tate or Mitchell.

Thinking long term, I wonder what BLM's future NFL prospects might be, given his age, size and arm strength.
Would suck to lose Tate in the expansion draft, and then a couple years down the road watch BLM go the route of Flutie, Burris, Garcia, and Dickenson, if he were to excel at the CFL level.
