Batman is too awesome. Not only that, he has a database in his bat computer on how to kill each and every single one of his Justice League teammates! Don't get hacked Bruce....
Subject to change, but recent rumours about casting and story line:
Quote:
THR cites "numerous sources" that the studio looks to cast a Bruce Wayne/Batman in "the late 30s or around the 40 mark" and the character will be "established and rugged."
Reportedly, the six actors at the top of the studio and director's current list are:
"Oldboy" and "Men in Black 3" star Josh Brolin
"Gangster Squad" star Ryan Gosling
"True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello
"The Hobbit" co-star Richard Armitage
"Pacific Rim's" Max Martini
"Watchmen" actor Matthew Goode.
I think I could get on board for Brolin.. he has been good in everything Ive seen him in lately.
Quote:
However, this list will likely change, as Snyder's script has reportedly not been written yet. As a result, the additional rumor reported by THR -- that the "Batman versus Superman" concept will "aim for the tone" of the duo's fight in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" -- is also subject to change. Although Frank Miller reportedly meeting with Snyder about the film certainly lends credence to the idea that "The Dark Knight Returns" will play some kind of role in the development of the film.
Interesting idea. Spoilered for speculation/possible plot line spoiler.
Spoiler!
I can see this as being a way to pit them against each other, the Man of Steel sworn to protect earth and promises to fight on the side of the law, Batman is more of a maverick rogue who does things his way and deals out his own justice. Superman confronts him about this, advantage Batman as Superman will look for any possible way out besides violence. This could also lead to Batman discovering kryptonite to weaken Superman, or some sort of red sun ray gun, that could then be adopted by Luthor or other villains in future movies... like a end credits scene of Luthor picking up the weapon out of the wreckage of one of their tilts.
Tough to pull off, but an interesting concept. Start them as enemies then give then a greater purpose or reason to unite. Which then leads into a JLA movie.

Some are good, others are pretty bad. I'd recommend checking out following ones though:
Batman Under the Red Hood: Probably the best rendition of an animated Batman universe without TAS voices.
Superman/Batman Public Enemies: Always a blast to see them team up, especially when it was apart of TAS universe. Love seeing them fight other heroes.
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse: Pretty much the same as the former, and anything with Darkseid in it is usually badass.
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights: Never been a huge Green Lantern fan, but probably the best GL work yet. Once again features an awesome villain in Sinestro.
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths: Pretty good take on the Crisis universe, had some issues, but James Woods did stellar work as Owlman.
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Part 2: Part one was alright, but sort of tedious at times. Most of the work from the graphic novel went into the second part though, so it makes sense why all the better content was in the second half.
Then there are the middle of the road ones that are sort of for fans only: Superman vs. The Elite, Superman Unbound, Green Lantern First Flight, and Wonder Woman.
Then there are a few terrible entries I just hated for the most part: Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: The New Frontier, Batman Gotham Knights (one good part in it), and the worst of them All-Star Superman. I couldn't even finish All-Star in its entirety, as after Lois Lane got powers midway in I checked out. Just an awful entry in every sense of the word, maybe the comics were like that, but it just plain sucked imo.
Although I would still say the cartoons are on average superior to these movies. Be sure to check out Batman Mask of the Phantasm and Superman/Batman Worlds Finest.
I love this take on how they deal with each other at first.
They should also think about doing For the Man Who Has Everything (written by Alan Moore) into a movie, since that might be the best take in the comics that has both Superman and Batman, while still featuring Superman. Which is another thing people who like those animated movies should check out.

Incorrect. As Hulk gets madder, he gets stronger. Even Supes would get butt ####ed.
Not Bats though. Bats'd beat him.
Theoretically the Gladiator could go toe toe with him, but he would need incredible confidence to defeat the Incredible Hulk.
Gladiator possesses a number of superhuman capabilities as a result of his unique alien physiology including superhuman strength (capable of shattering a planet),[10] superhuman speed, stamina and durability (capable of withstanding an explosion equivalent to a supernova);[39] reflexes; heat vision (stated as "hotter than a star");[40]frost breath[41] and is capable of warp speed flight (measured as "a hundred times the speed of light").[39] Gladiator's abilities increase and decrease in accordance with his level of confidence[42] and he is vulnerable to a certain form of rare radiation.[43]

Sentry/Void can and has beaten the Hulk in WWH IIRC?
Which I suppose means we will get insider information putting your cousin's job at risk for the benefit of your internet friends.

All Superman has to do is spin the world backwards to the point just before Banner gets all flooded with gamma radiation and kill him. No Hulk, Superman wins.

hahhahaa. ummmm thats not real. Superman can't turn back time.
That scene was so cool when i was a kid. Now all i can think of if it's logically possible to trun back time like that.
People always think that he's simply rotating the earth in the opposite direction to turn back time but if you watch the montage where water is flowing in the opposite direction, etc. what is really happening is that time is reversing so obviously the earth changing direction is just the process of time going in reverse from Superman's perspective, not the actual earth spinning the other way.
If you think about it that way it makes sense. Just suspend all notions about how time travel is impossible and just assume Superman somehow has the ability to travel back in time by moving fast enough. Just assume it's some kind of superpower that breaks the laws of physics and quantum mechanics as we know it.
