This team usually never picks the best player available.

I disagree, should not have passed on Hunter. Guy is a gifted goal scorer, we shouldn't have passed on him. Really disappointed at Feaster and co

Calgary will trade their 28th for 2 picks to avoid putting so much pressure on the guy. Remember this is a pick they receive from Iggy's trade. Also I heard they don't have a 2nd round pick and no 4th round pick.

Seriously, this is incredibly stupid. It's like saying you won't use an umbrella in a rainstorm because you heard it would be sunny.

This is a guy I had in my top 10 all year long. Unbelievable speed and skill he will be much better then this hunter guy. Great great pick.

I'm glad we passed on Shinkaruk. When interviewed he was asked if, being from Calgary, his family were Flames fans. "Nah, we cheered for a number of teams."

Fittingly this D-bag goes to the Canucks.

This guy is going to be terrible because the scouts at TSN and Central scouting who aren't good enough to find gigs on actual teams think he's ranked lower.

Well Craig liked him, yet only rated him a 4/5 skater, when that's supposed to be a strength of his game.

He did show some marked improvement this past year over last year. December birthday, I don't think you see too many December kids make it to Junior.

Offensive forward with size and speed to burn with great hands. You can't teach speed and skill. Hunter isn't skilled he's just a energy player, who cares if he's from Calgary.

Yeah that was my immediate thought as well just looking at who's between 22 & 28. I dunno, I don't mind the pick. Kids got wheels and hands.
