Hawks in 6.
Bruins have better goaltender, but so did Kings and it mattered squat.
Hawks are built very well against big physical hardworking teams.
Bruins had a lot of luck against Pens (albeit were still a better team) and should run out of luck.

I don't buy in to the O6 snobbery either.
This should however be a good series. Hard to call.

The team who gets the most out of their defense and goaltending will win. I think Chicago has a slight edge on the blue line and Boston has a slight edge in goal. Where I think Boston is much better is in the team defense game. Should be epic.

Yup. The conference finals showed that the Blackhawks are much more physical than people give them credit for. They also have a lot of speed and I think clearly better depth than the Bruins.
My guess is that Rask needs to really dominate the goaltending battle for the Bruins to win. It could happen, but odds are it won't.
Chicago in six.

Really glad Chicago won it last night, I did not want to wait until next saturday for the finals.
Bruins in 6, but if they keep playing D the way they did against the Pens they could finish it sooner.

Gonna be a close series so Bruins in 7. I just think they have better goaltending and they'll grind the Hawks down.

I think the Bruins are a much better team, especially on the back end.
Boston in 6...and they win both games in Chicago.

The Bruins haven't faced a team like the Hawks all season as they barely beat a Leafs team that was happy to be there, a depleted, overachieving Senators team, and a Penguins team that imploded. I think this series will be competitive but the Hawks are the superior team and it will show.

I really can't see Boston beating Chicago, surprised how many people think otherwise.

I remember a few years ago there was a lot of fans that thought the Senators would beat the Ducks. I picked the Ducks in five and couldn't figure out why so many fans thought the obviously inferior team would win. Same applies here although the Bruins are hardly chopped liver. Hawks have better forwards, defense and goaltending is a tie. The Hawks could implode like the Penguins of course but if they show up I don't see the Bruins having an answer for the speed and skill of the Hawks.

Boston for two reasons:
- Better goaltending
- I just don't see how its physically possible to get past Zdeno Chara

Not that it changes anything about your argument, but the Bruins beat the Rangers not the Sens.

The same was said about Tampa and Vancouver in 2011, and the Pens just 4 games ago. Maybe it ends up being true this time, but the Bruins have been doing a pretty good job of beating teams that are supposed to be too fast and skilled for them.

I really just want to see entertaining hockey...these teams seem suited for each other and I really want he Bruins to win.....especially without Thomas this time.
Both teams deserve to be playing for the cup IMO as they play like teams and not like a bunch of individuals aka Pens, Caps, Kings
