Seriously, thank for the props though everyone. It was fun making them. I love predictions, etc.
As for this series, I will be rooting for Chicago. In terms of predictions............I think the series could go either way. LA has the best goalie on the planet currently and that gives them the advantage. I think Chicago will learn a lesson from the Detroit series. Although it wouldn't shock me at all if LA won, Hawks in 7.

Why does everybody keep talking about Chicago learning a lesson from the Detroit series, it's such an Aaron Ward thing to say.

Impossible to say how this goes, game 7 OT would not surprise me at all, but a couple of lucky bounces one way could also end the series short.
I just think the series might take too much out of the winner, giving an unfair advantage to Penguins, who I feel are the obvious favourites to come out of the east.

Unreal series it could be, I want Kings to win. Regehr vs Iggy could be awesome to see. Kings in 7 if they steal a game early in Chicago then maybe in 6.

'Hawk depth has carried them so far...Sharp has 7 goals, true, but the best, and most consistant efforts from forwards, have been from Frolik, Kruger, Bickell and Shaw. Without Frolik and Freddy (Kruger's nickname to Chi teammates and fans), the 'Hawks do not get past Detroit. Quick > Crawford but 'Hawk Four Lines> King Four Lines. Quick has not really had Chicago's number during his career, but IS the kind of goalie that can steal a series.
I would say that the 'Hawks proven ability to win on the road will be the difference in this series.

Chicago was my favorite team in the early 90s but I really don't want them to win this time around. I've never liked 20 cent and I'm cheering for Darryl's team.
LA vs. Pittsburgh would be my ideal SCF.

Fenwick says Kings win.
For the sake of the Game, however, a Hawks-Pens Stanley Cup Finals would be a hoot.

Quick gives the Kings the edge. Even though it is the Western final Chicago just seems to be have a number of players that are not playing to their potential and are somewhat disinterested or something.
I still am not convinced the Hawks are playing full out yet and if they can find that extra gear we know they have.
While on the other hand LA has fully bought into Sutter suffocating style hockey frustrating their opponents attack and Quick is playing like a playoff MVP again.
