How do the casinos stop people from having more than one account and gifting chips?

Gifting chips is normally in low denominations and I don't think you can gift LP, so it's fine. I doubt you'd wanna play this 'game' on multiple accounts at one time. I would honestly go crazy!

"Gifting" chips doesn't transfer chips in the game, so you can't give chips from account to account.
At the Casino they link rewards to an mlife account. You are limited in the amount of rewards per mlife account, but it isn't tracked well so I am sure there is a way to scam it there.

Can you explain? There's an iPhone app for the game now?

Not a game. I guess when you are down in Vegas they have put those QR Codes in certain places you can snap the code and spin the wheel in the app. They have also released them online (3 can be found on the FB page) where you get to spin the wheel and win chips or LP.

OK, maybe I'm just really blind, but which FB page do I need to look on for the QR codes? The app page or the guide? Are they just in the wall posts or the photo albums?

I was just more curious how they have prevented it, not really interested in doing it.

For gifting the chips, there's not so much a prevention measure by the game, but rather by Facebook which has been fairly aggressive as of late in terms of seeking out inauthentic accounts, especially those that are tied to MyVegas and similar games (because people were doing exactly what you were suggesting - creating false accounts). They start to pull the "you must submit government ID to be able to access your account" card, and - as was mentioned - the gifting just honestly isn't worth the hassle/risk.
Some people still think it's worth the risk, because they falsely believe that they can get more rewards if they have multiple accounts. But that's where the tie-in to the mLife card/number comes in.
The game creates a user record for you in their database, which is associated with your Facebook account (via the game). The first time you redeem an award, you need to give the confirmation code of the reward. From that point on, your mLife membership is associated with the Facebook account that the initial reward's confirmation code was attached to. If you were to try to associate a *different* Facebook account with an mLife number that already had redeemed an award, you wouldn't be able to.
You also can't have multiple mLife memberships (ie. you can't have multiple Facebook account each associated with a different mLife number), because your mLife / player's card is tied to you - your name, address, etc. - and you have to show photo ID every time you use the mLife card to claim a reward.

I started started this up, is there a benefit to adding friends onto the MyVegas app? do you get additional chips for doing so?

not really a whole lot. I never paid to buy any coins just used the free ones given to me. Once it got past the first few and got auto spins I would just let the slots go while I was surfing then go back and redo again when they ran out.
Wasted a lot of time on this forum without getting anything except a headache and some anger. Got a 4 night free stay in vegas now along with my CP headache wasting the same amount of time.
But never shared the notifications with any friends. Doing that would be like telling them I was Vancouver Canucks fan.

I just started too, but I think the benefit is you can "share" and "gift" to people. They are all small amounts, but what the hey...
I also finally figured out how to get my game activity not to show to all my friends, but rather just those who also play. That way they can pick up the free chips.
If anyone would like to add me I can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/Jaanikka

For example, I have 9 friends that play the game, which gives me a 150% bonus on anything I win on the daily spin.

First I made a list for "myVegas Friends"
then go to "home" or your main default page of FB
on left hand side it will list your apps
click on "App Center"
then (still on left side) click on "your apps"
then click on "settings' in the app you want to change
change "visibility of app" and select the list you created for vegas

Around level 35 what kind of Loyalty Points did people have? Looking at the gifts it seems like it would take you forever to get anything worth while.

I'm currently on level 23 and have a little over 10,000 LP. That's only taken three days (with no friends added for extra bonuses). I expect it will take months to get to the 100,000+ level where the 2 night hotel stays are.
