Assuming the order doesn't change...

FLA - Jones (need the franchise dman more then the franchise center)
COL - MacKinnon
TB - Drouin (I could see TB taking the big center in Barkov...but I think Drouin wins out)
NSH - Barkov
CAR - Nurse (I have a hard time seeing CAR taking a dman, but they need it and i dont see a comparable winger on the board)
CGY - Lindholm
EDM - Monahan (setting the stage of RNH to be traded for D help)
BUF - Nichuskin (Grigs/Nich long-term is a big, skilled 1-2 first line punch)
NJD - Zadorov (safe, steady d...perfect Devils pick)
DAL - Ristolainen (they need forward help but Ristolainen is the BPA here i think. 1st pick for the new GM though...might be an interesting one!)

^I think Rutherford has stated in the past he doesn't like taking Dmen in the high first - though he also then took Murphy.

That's just it. i don't see CAR taking a dman...but its there biggest need. I don't see a comparable winger at that level and they don't need a center (although people can move to wing i suppose). That said, if CAR took Nichuskin that could be a very interesting add if he was to come to N...fits well in the top 6.

CAR will be an interesting team to watch at the draft, along with edm and dal.

It sure will be interesting the next few seasons comparing who we take and who Edmonton takes after us.

It's amazing how torn this forum is between Lindholm and Monahan! Seems almost 50/50

I would like the Flames to flip picks with Carolina if they can do it cheaply. I don't want someone moving into that slot and taking a center out from under us.
