Currently the STL pick is at 23rd, but that is just going off of the standings and completely ignoring the results of the playoffs.

Spoiler!

In an ideal situation for the Flames we would see STL get eliminated immediately and hope for 2 non-division champion conference finals.

For example, if we end up with BOS vs OTT and LAK vs DET for the conference finals then the Blues pick would drop to 20th.

Spoiler!

*Edit to fix the standings.

Also Note that this scenario also pushing the Pens pick to 25.

Kings had the league's best Fenwick last season.

Kings have the league's best Fenwick this season.

It's all about the Fenwick.

Kings in 5.

A friendly reminder that this game will be shown in British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon. Viewers east of the Yukon and Alberta will have to watch this game on a CBC timeshift channel or on RDS in french.

I hadn't seen him yet and at the start of the game CBC listed Ellerby as in the line up. Guess I shouldn't trust CBC

I will say, there are only a handful of players who can do what Kopitar does when he is on the rush. It is nearly impossible to knock him off the puck when he drives the net, just so physically dominating. Malkin is the only other I can think of that can dominate like Kopitar can.

Sure Crosby, Toews, etc. can drive the net and hold the puck, but Kopitar and Malkin just push the defenders out of the way and do what they want.

It's fantastic to watch.

Well they had something wrong. What they had was Drewiske-Doughty, Scuderi-Voynov, Ellerby-Muzzin

Everyone was saying how physically dominating LA is and would dominate St.Louis because of it, that is certainly not the case so far. St.Louis has been destroying the LA Kings.

Surprised Hitchcock scratched Tarasenko for Cracknell. But with the way the Blues are all over the Kings it looked like a smart move.

I'm amazed Cracknell ever made it to the NHL, but he really works hard. That was a great shift
