Game Center ruined it for me, they cut off coverage after the second fist bump that Kipper got. No salute, nothing.
Absolutely terrible. Hopefully the flames website will make it right and show a video of the team congratulating him and hopefully of the team saluting the crowd since it is the last game of the year on home ice.
As a proud fan who lives outside of Calgary and who couldn't be at the game, I feel completely ripped off.

Gelinas is talking about how much Backlund has matured this year and how fun it is to watch him lately. Couldn't agree more.

I disagree.

I watched it a couple of times and Kipper choked up with that first answer. millions fed him a softball to allow him to regain his composure. For such a private guy that Kipper is, this was a savvy, classy move by Millions.

I think Sportsnet Connected just spent more time focusing on the Hawks announcer's 30 year anniversary than they did on the Flames franchise goalie's possible last career game. Just embarassing

I'm conflicted, glad Kipper's going out on a high note but jeez, this team can't even tank properly.

Oh man, duh, the score was 3-1. I couldn't watch the game and came to this thread to find out the score....didn't see it, and then saw the comment reading "shutout".....a bit of a comedy of errors on my part, and jumping to conclusions!

Not surprise...they can prolong Blue Jays coverage to cut some beginnings of Flames games.

Totally DISCONNECTED.

I don't know but this channel has sucked big time, total bush league.

btw, they still haven't fixed the out of sync issue....

Pretty hard to do something when you're not actually trying to do so.
