People around here were just way too paranoid after what happened with Tom Erixon.

I was at the season's ticket holder event, and Jay Feaster said that Murphy was ahead of Sven on their final list.
I also asked Feaster who was on the list after Sven, unfortunately Feaster didn't remember (or didn't want to disclose that information).

Pretty sure he's signed for another year back home

This is great news. Although, I never really doubted that it'd happen.

Thought I read somewhere on CP today that there are transfer agreements with the scandanavian leagues. Could be wrong, but I read that if they had an NHL contract signed they could come over.

But there's a transfer agreement between then SM-Liiga and the NHL, so he can come to camp. And if he chooses he can stay in either the AHL or with the big club if he makes the team.
Any ideas what the salary is?

He hasn't exactly dominated his domestic league, so having another year to develop at home might benefit him. All will be revealed in September...

Irving back up? Grandlund signed? Babchuk drawn back in? Good to see that Feaster wants us to lose these last games.

The Flames were rumored to have interviewed Nathan Beaulieu multiple times at the combine and just before the draft.
Lots of rumors/speculation that he was the one that the Flames had ranked before Baertschi.

If true this will involve tears, tissue and beers. The best player in Flames history IMO.
I am happy that Feaster has been head down getting work done since the 3rd.

Happy to hear Granlund signed. The Heat are going to look vastly different next season. Actual prospects instead of a team filled with AHL deals.

He is probably referring to the highest NCAA player or NCAA eligible player as the 4th!
