I get razed at work from a few Canuckle-heads. The Edmonton fans that I know personally are all acting 'understanding' and almost eerily compassionate. lol.
Flak or no flak.. I'm excited about our Flames moving forward.

I went to school in Edmonton, so most of my friends are Edmonton fans. They used to relentlessly troll me about being a Flames fan up until we traded Iginla. Then they stopped...it's like they understand my situation now.
I still hate them.

Yes it is a very weird situation. I am getting nothing from the Oiler fans. The Van fans really are deluded and think that they have a great team.

I'm in Edmonton so me and my friends take a jab at flames and oilers all the time. Most of the time we end up making fun of both teams.

I live in Abbotsford and I get nothing but pity.
I tell them they'll be in the same situation in 3 years.

All the flak I get is from Flames "fans" like my father in law. Flames are in trouble, and he's an instant expert, and could do a better job than any GM.
God I can't wait till he eats his words.

I get it daily. But given my job and that 95% of my twitter followers are Canuck fans, it's to be expected. It's all in good fun though. Contrary to what some think about me here, I'm pretty easy going and don't get truly worked up even if I react. I get some pity but I don't want it. I know I wouldn't give it out if situation were reversed.

Zero flack.
People in B.C. interior don't care. So glad to not be in Calgary right now, it's a bitterly cold city at the best of times but at least a decent Flames team in the playoffs made it exciting to live there.
Right now with lousy management and fan interest at an all-time low it must be insufferable.

Moved back to Vancouver in December. I get a lot of flack. But most of them can't name 5 Canucks without saying "linden" or "bure"!
A guy yelled at me last night for how Calgary "would take Luongo for a first round pick" if Calgary didn't owe kipper for the next 3 yrs.
The fans here think that the green body suits, the diving, the hairpulling and the lazer pens are a sign of dedication.
I'm pretty proud to be a flames fan. And I don't have to tell them about the fact that we have a cup. Sooooo niiiiiiice.
They r losers, and I will stop watching hockey, looking at results, and caring, if the Canucks ever won the cup.
That's cuz the Stanley cup will turn into dust if a Luongo or a sedin ever touches it. The hockey gods will make sure!

I've gotten some flack from a few people but since Iggy got traded I really don't care whether the Flames win or lose for the rest of the season so they don't get the reaction they're looking for and shutup pretty quick.

Not getting much at all. But I'm quick with the quips and reality.
Oilers still suck, Canucks always have.

Where are you at in PA? I'm from south central PA, so my friends are a pretty even mix of Flyers, Caps and Pens fans. The Flyers and Caps fans can't say too much, and the Pens fans are just grateful to have Iggy.

I'm getting some, but that's just from one of my friend, but he can't really say anything as he only supports Finnish players and is a huge Pekka Rinne fan (So Nashville), but he ain't supporting them now because they suck, so he can suck my fat one.

None. I don't talk hockey with most people unless it's online (too many people just talk crap and have no idea what is actually going on), but the few that I do are ones that understand how die hard I am and are either in the same boat currently or have been in the past.

With the Leafs, Sens and Habs all doing well this year so that has made it rougher. But at the same time, I think everybody is getting bored of making fun of the Flames so that has made it not as bad. So it's probably about as bad as it has been for the past couple years.

Finally after how long they are right so I've been able to take it in stride and ignore most of the crap. Meh I'll give them this season. Funny enough though they have been real quiet since they started losing again.

Yup. I've been saying for years up here that Oilers fans' hockey season is June(Draft Day)-December. The yearly first over-all selection gets em all jacked up, then they brag all summer about it and how good they're gonna be and how the Flames are (were) sooo old, and share their Kool-Aid with the national media who somehow falls for it every year too. Then by New Years' when the wheels have fallen off and half the teams' on IR, they finally go quiet again, until next draft day. Rinse, repeat.
I know this year's been a little different for them, but also keep in mind the shortened season. Not too hard to stay within 10pts of the playoff race after only 35 games.

None whatsoever. It's been obvious even to the most casual of fans for years that the Flames are going nowhere fast. They are a joke that has gone on so long nobody even cares to repeat it anymore. If anything there is a little sympathy. They feel sorry for you that you are still a fan of a team that has been run into the ground by incompetents.

Maybe you failed to notice that I didn't taunt them with our only cup, I just pointed out they had none. Sorry but having a team for over 40 years and never getting a cup is pretty weak and it'd annoy me if that was my team. Actually I was surprised that a few Nuck fans thought we had several cups.
