Stunning the difference between tonight's game and the home game against the Hawks earlier this season. The Flames cranked it up to play what I thought was the best game in years that night, despite the loss.
Essentially same roster tonight looked completely outclassed.
I don't mean because they are losing, but everyone is playing like they are waiting to get traded, like they are keeping healthy for a stretch drive opportunity with another team.
Going through the motions, waiting, waiting, waiting for SOMEONE to get dealt. Waiting for a direction.
The sooner these triggers get pulled, the easier it will be on everyone. If Iginla isn't going to go somewhere without a deal and the trade deadline passes by, fine, so be it.
If no other deals get done prior to that!?
Break the seal, Jay.

I usually don't mind Kerr, but he was more than a bit off tonight when he said "...and it doesn't get any easier for the Flames as they face Colorado at home tomorrow night." Come on Kerr, going from an away game in Chicago to a home game against the Avalanche may very well be the biggest swing toward easy that is possible in the NHL this season.
I have tried hard to remain optimistic this season but now its causing me pain to watch these games. I think ill only watch home games for the rest of the season....and possibly Boston games after Iggy is traded.
Peter Maher said a couple of days ago that he thinks the Flames would win this game. This guy has to be the most positive Flames fan out there. Going into this game I didn't think we had any chance of winning. What makes this guy turn? I know he's a classy guy but he has to wake up and be more realistic. We are done and changes have to made. Poor guy is just towing the line.

Have the flames even shown up for a game when they have played the night before? I don't think Kerr is wrong. Colorado is already in Calgary, while the flames are not even on the plane yet to come home.
