If people want McDonald's, let them have McDonald's. Guaranteed they could pay a higher lease rate than almost all of those other places. More money for the University. Hurray!

McDonald's won't kill everything, it hasn't killed everything out in the real world, it wouldn't in the Mac Hall world either. Even that Koryo Korean BBQ knock off is brutal. It's almost the same thing... except those amazing potatoes and bbq sauce.

I believe the biggest issue with a McDonalds in Mac Hall is Pepsi's contract with the University. I'm not sure if it has been renewed recently but the inability to advertise, and possibly sell, Coca-Cola products is a huge issue when it comes to McDonalds. A&W does sell Coca-Cola products but from my understanding it was grandfathered in.

Then even more reason to add it since students can afford.

Yeesh, it's not like the places outside of Timmys and McD's is going to be deserted just because of one major fast food chain coming in. There's a McDonalds in the Scotia building downtown and yet there are other fast food chains in the same building. Places in Mac Hall will survive if people want to eat at them. Why do have the idea that they won't? After all, people like variety and don't want to eat the same thing day by day.

Given how Oriental Wok STILL exists after god knows how long, I think any place should survive.
