I really don't understand all of the Giordano hate. It's true that the guy hasn't looked noticeable offensively, but he hasn't made very many mistakes in the defensive zone either. Off the top of my head I can think of more bad giveaways perpetrated by Wideman and Brodie thus far, yet they do not get the same criticism on here. Keeping in mind that Gio is facing a higher level of competition this season, it's obvious that he will have less time and space. His game has been sound positionally and I think that the new and improved Bouwmeester is largely a result of Giordano having taken on more of a stay-at-home role.
