Outside of maybe 4 games the Flames have had much more puck possesion time than the opposition but what has been their downfall has been a poor pk and when the opposition does finally gain control of the offensive zone and establish their formation especially in the 3rd period the Flames either take a penalty or get scored on.
Also this continuous garbage of not finishing periods off and getting scored on in the last minute has become a habit.
Its back breaking to allow that that to keep happening.
As for goaltending Kipper had an uncharacteristic bad start and no backup for any sustained length of time has really replaced what Kipper usally can give the Flames.
