I like 90% of Nicholas Cage movies.
I don't care if they are ridiculous and full of plot holes. The more far fetched they are the more entertaining.

Another one:
I hate the show "Mad Men". It's lame. It's a soap opera. The dialogue is cheezy. Don Draper is not cool, and he does not dress especially well either.

The thread is about "unpopular" opinions. Not self-righteous opinions that the vast majority of people have.

-Hudson Hawk was a great movie. Goofy, but great!
-Baby boomers are overly entitled, but Albertans under 25 are even worse.

I actually think Nickelback isn't as bad as people make them out to be,they are just way overplayed on the radio hence why people get sick of them.

Although I believe in conserving resources in general, I am not 100% convinced that man made global warming is occurring. It's a very likely explanation, at this point, but not the only one, and we should always be open to new ideas. Global warming is not a religion. You do not "Believe" in it. The opinions of many on this subject are influenced not by a love of the environment or reasoning but by which political party they want to win.
I rarely vote. I appreciate the right to vote, but I cannot stand bi-partisan politics. The whole system just boils down to who you want to win, as you have arbitarily defined yourself as "left" or "right" at some point. I cannot understand why issues like economic policy and gay marriage have to be linked. You can't choose one policy without voting for dozens of others you despise.
Baby boomers worked far less than the current generation and recevied far more. Anyone who says this generation is "entitled" doesn't know what they are talking about. Lower end jobs pay less. Housing, food, and gas are far less affordable. It's far harder to get into useful educational programs than it was 20 or 30 years ago. Very rarely does a couple have the privilege of having one person stay home to look after the domestic work and kids. The list goes on.

Most of us Boomers are still working, and working harder than ever. Half the time I'm fixing the problems that were sluffed off by my younger co workers.

Amen to that! In a non-religious way. Religion is a giant hoax.

Doctors in the United States and Canada are mostly ignorant when it comes to holistic healing. Many people would be just fine without pills for many things. Instead of solving the problem, Western medicine prefers immediate gratification by putting a 'bandaid' on symptoms, which makes things much worse in the long run.

I don't trust people who don't drink. It's not natural.

Coldplay is an abomination to music.
Canada should bring back Capital Punishment.

Sometimes it is hard to give a crap when you're getting paid one 1/4 of what your crappy older co-worker is, but you can do the work in half the time (because we're a lot more proficient with computers).

The younger generation who think baby boombers had it easier are out to lunch. We came from a generation of parents who didn't have much. They didn't buy us a car or pay for part or all of our education. Housing was cheaper but so were the wages earned. I worked a part time job during my school years to help buy me a vehicle and a full and part time one in the summer to pay for my post secondary education.
