For this week

Ravens
Bengals
Redskins
Packers

Denver over GB in the Super Bowl. Loved watching it the first time it happened, why not a second time.

Being a life long Broncos fan, those first few games of the season were brutal to watch. Manning couldn't throw the ball worth crap and I was so worried. I am glad everything is coming together.

Justin Smith hit the practice field for this first time since his injury. Sounds like he may be a bit weaker in his arm but he wants to play.

I like this but I'd take Denver over Cinci and then Denver over NE, then Seattle vs. Denver in the Super Bowl. Seattle wins!

I like the Bengals more than most. I always like a team that can pressure with just the front four and has good secondary depth. And I think AJ Green is gonna have a monster postseason. Its not irrational homerism either to think Seattle is getting to or winning the Super Bowl. I think they are definitely the most complete team in the playoffs.

Food for thought as we near todays games...

Quarterback Christian Ponder, for one, has never started a game in temperatures under 40 degrees. Saturday's high is expected to be in the mid-20s. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, on the other hand, has 14 career starts -- and an NFL-high 75.1 Total Quarterback Rating -- in games below freezing. The Vikings' extended history reveals they have struggled in road playoff games since moving indoors in 1982. Over that 31-season span, they have won only four road playoff games (in 14 opportunities).

Joey Koontz of ESPN Stats & Information breaks out how the Bengals have clamped down on pass defense. Cincinnati has yielded the fifth-lowest Total QBR (41.8) to opponents and has given up a league-low 10 pass plays of at least 30 yards.

The Bengals don't allow much in the short passing game, either. On passes that traveled 10 yards in the air or fewer, the Bengals gave up one touchdown on such throws in the last eight games (a span of 209 passes).

The Texans, who play the Bengals in Saturday's wild-card game, finished as the league's 11th-best passing attack.

Ponder is apparently in doubt to play tonight, potentially making Joe Webb the starter. If nothing else they could have a huge night running the ball if Webb plays.

bengals should be down by about 17 at the half, but there they are...right in it. horrible half by them but so many mistakes by the Texans have it close still. Dalton looks awful.

The Bengals Offensive line is getting killed. Texans will blow this open in the next 10 minutes here.

there was a perfect example why the INT stat can be so skewed...it will go down as a mistake by Dalton but that was entirely 100% on AJ Green...what the hell was he doing?

Dalton has been awful in the 4th quarter.

I dont think Webb hurts the Vikings in this game.

Any chance Marvin Lewis gets the ax even after making the playoffs in back to back seasons? He has just been around forever with limited success.

I'm not sure it's much of a break for the packers. It's not like Ponder was a big key strong point for the Vikes and from GB's perspective they haven't prepared to play an offense run by a guy as mobile as Webb. It might be a bit of a downer but it's not a disaster.

Plus they weren't going to win anyway.

Bengals really need to upgrade the interior of their offensive line. JJ Watt was awesome though, anyone would be in tough against him today. Despite that, the Bengals could have had that if Daulton makes a couple of throws. Texans will need to be much better if they want to live past next week. But Foster and Watt did the job today.

As for this next game, Green Bay is 2-4 in their last 6 home playoff games. I think they'll be okay tonight though.

Dungy thinks webb gives the Vikes a BETTER chance to win?

LOL...maybe he's right and a guy that hasnt started a game in 2 years is the answer?

The whole world is upside down now between this and contentions that the better team doesnt win games in hockey.

Well I guess we will find out how much the Vikngs offence has practiced the read option offence. It will be a surprise for Green Bay, we find out how much of a surprise this I'd for the Vikings.
