Here's what I know about vehicles: Nothing.
I bought this van because:
1) my girlfriend had one
2) and back in 2008 you could plug your ipod into it, which was a pretty amazeballs feature at the time.
Also, it had lots of cupholders. Which, as a new mom of 2, was pretty important. I needed a vehicle that could accommodate my Starbucks addiction, while cruising the neighbourhood so my colicky kids could sleep after watching Baby Einstein on the van's DVD system (on loop.) Because Lord knows they weren't sleeping at night.
I also wanted to be able to haul around all the baby gear, like playpens etc., for easy sleepovers at Grandma's. (note: my colicky kids never *slept* at Grandma's, but at least they were screaming their heads off over there for a bit of respite.)
I loved that I could carry those ridiculous bucket seats, a pile of groceries, and just press one button to open the side door and load everything in.
I also loved the remote start, and all the storage. Long after I sell this awesome van to you, you might come across my son's beloved Batman, that was lost on a road-trip to Red Deer once, and is probably in one of the 9,000 storage bins/dividers/stowaways in this vehicle. Consider it my gift to you. My son should be completed his therapy by then.
Now my kids sleep through the night, they do all sorts of fun things like play soccer and golf, and I Spy, and in my attempt to lose the post-pregnancy-pudge, I have traded lattes for water-with-a-slice-of-lemon.
And also, my friends tell me that driving a mini-van is doing nothing for my dating life.
I have been the only owner, and aside from a lot of crumbs and a few wayward french fries, this vehicle has been maintained.
It's also the only purse I've ever had that held absolutely everything I needed.
