More horrible play for the Heat to give up an easy 2 on 1, and Irving lets in another pretty soft one and just like that it is 2 zip Rampage, despite the fact they have barely touched the puck all game.

A few really good shifts by the heat. Kept the Rampage in the defensive zone.

Great board play by the Street and Horak line from I have seen so far in the game.

Are we Patrick Roying Irving? I'd say we should give him a bit more of a chance.

Byron has been looking awesome lately! He is always creating chances whenever he is on the ice!

Oh agreed, but he has looked like poo his last couple games, and really hasn't looked great this year at all.

Heat were probably the better team overall in the first period, but they can't seem to hit the net when they shoot, and their goalie let in two very weak goals. Going to be tough to come back on Markstrom the way his is playing when you have to be worried about every floater from the point beating your goalie.

I don't think Irving is long for this franchise.

I did not see the first goal, but how could you possibly call the second gaol "very weak"? That was not his fault at all. Awful, awful defensive play by the Heat.

On that note after a strong start to the season, Steve McCarthy has been absolutely awful as of late. He does not belong in the NHL like some have suggested previously.

Make it 3-0... I would call that a weak one on Irving...

Game over. Irving lets in his third goal against along the ice through the 5 hole. Less than 10 shots on goal. Sad, sad, sad. Given up 8 goals on the last 27 shots. Wow.

Dear god, Irving may not be playing very good but he is certainly not getting any help.

I feel bad for the kid myself.

Irving has been pulled. If he is lacking confidence there is no way this is helping.

Howden made Breen look silly on that play.

That is my concern for Breen at the NHL level, He simply does not have the footspeed to contain those fast skaters in open ice.

Markstrom has made more big saves in the last 5 minutes than Irving made all game before getting yanked.

Man you can tell that Reinhart is a different player when he has confidence!

What a crappy and disappointing home stand against two of the crappier teams in the AHL......especially after whooping Hamilton in the first of these four games.

Missing Walter hurts more than most realize I think.....the other injuries suck too, but Walter is a key cog for this team IMO.

Wow. Markstrom has been fantastic in both of these two back to back games so far. Just robbed Nemisz!

Irving needs this lockout to end more than anyone. Figure out where the hell he's going to be the rest of the season.
