I was listening to the game but the boyfriend and his friends think the Grey Cup is more important, so I'm stuck to reading this. I just recently started following the Heat because I need some sort of hockey fix.

Interesting fact: Lou Jankowski (Mark's grandpa) ended Johnny Bower's shutout streak, the same shutout streak that Barry Brust just beat last night.

Notes from the interview:
- Conroy spent the whole weekend with the team (actually on the bus with the team).
- Wanted to see the Heat play against divisional rivals' farm teams to see their prospects (I think he meant conference rivals).
- "They never give up," "They always help the goaltender as a 5 man unit".
- Every goalie deserves to start each night.
- He's excited about having saw both of the Heat's records.
- He's been doing alot of charity stuff since the lockout is still going.
- They're doing a coaching clinic soon in Calgary.
- "Sven's a special player"
- As good as any player he's seen at this level.
- Wants to see Sven give and go a little more. Feels he's trying to do too much sometimes.
- It's fun to watch him, liked seeing Sven's 'fight' and 'tenacity' during the Toronto series.

I'd really like to get managements view on Jankowski's progress, seeing as apparently, according to coach Leaman, there has been a ton of flames guys watching Jankowski down with Providence.
