Great cycle caused by the forecheck by Horak. Reinhart with a nifty feed from behind the net to Ben Walter, and the Heat score their first of the year. Good plumber goal.
Only saw the last couple shifts of the first period but Brodie looks fantastic out there. He's skating well and making crisp passes that are leading to successful breakouts with speed through the neutral zone. Great to see.
Shots were 14-4 Peoria. Commentators mentioned that the Heat took the only penalties and took a bunch of them, including going down 5 on 3.

-Coda Gordon has a goal; Swift Current leads Regina 2-1 in the third

-Turner Elson has 2 assists; the Rebels lead Medicine Hat 2-1 in the second
-Brett Kulak hasn't done much; Vancouver trails Seattle 1-0 in the first
Tough to get a good read on the offence due to the penalties, but some solid PK'ing and good saves by Taylor.
Baertschi with the dopey o-zone penalty, but could have just been the other guy not holding onto his stick. (From what I saw, he gave it a good whack as he went by).
Brodie looks good. Reinhart with some speed on the forecheck.
