Yes you're right. I got Beckett and Buckholz mixed up. Thanks for the clarification.

I'd hope that Lind would be the guy we're sending just to ditch him.

Last year when the Sox's were asking the Jays about Farrell didn't the Jays ask for Buckholz in compensation? Wouldn't surprise me if they were asking for him again.

The Jays send a player to the Red Sox, making you think the Sox player has to be of some value. Hmmmmmm

The Jays have to send a player back to Boston to make the trade legal. Can't trade a player for a manager.

Jose Iglesias makes some sense if it's him.

Again..we don't even know who the Jays gave up. I didn't expect much in returns of compensation to begin with, still don't now.

That's what I was thinking too. Especially if the Escobar experiment is over. But Iglesias isn't a Major Leaguer really.

Dream on if you think it's Bucholz. He was the Sox best pitcher last year, and his relationship with Farrel is likely why the Sox want him.It might be guy like Ciriaco or Iglesias. Hopefully the Jays dumped Lind on Boston. Although I doubt that.

A guy can dream right? The reason I brought his name up was that the guys on the Fan590 were talking about if and when Farrell does go back to Boston what would the compensation be. They suggested Bucholz could be part of the compensation. So I wasn't the only one dreaming!

Clay Buckholz had a barely average 2012 season. He really was not that good at all. Not saying the Jays had any chance at him, but he is hardly an ace or someone off limits from being traded.
