No, it happened with Zev and Justin the first time they were on the show. They actually finished first on the leg, but Zev couldn't find his passport by the time all the other teams checked in and they were eliminated.

Definitely one of the lamest, tamest Amazing Races I've ever watched. All of this working together and teamwork and caring and sharing is getting on my nerves. Not to mention these are the stupidest, easiest, on-rails challenges I've ever seen. They need to bring back the diabolically hard challenges where teams can spend an entire afternoon on it end end up curled up in the fetal position crying before it's over. Or the backbreaking labour like unrolling hundreds of hay bails. They need to get these people driving themselves around again, over long distances, where there are ample opportunities to get horribly lost. Basically this whole race has been: fly to new city, go complete some easy ass task, walk down the street, do one more task, walk to the pitstop.
Cheering for James and James as they're good guys, but I don't even know if I care enough at this point to finish watching this one.

Gah I go on vacation and go from having none gone to out lol. Too bad for Mark and Abba about having their stuff stolen. They weren't front runners but always seem consistent enough I could see them in the final 3 for some reason.
Ryan did his own team in. I'm actually quite surprised they were such a-holes to Trey and Lexi and the twins yet so nice to the farmers. If you didn't piss off those other teams to begin with you wouldn't have been in that predicament even with the terrible flight choices. At worst you would have been U-turned then could have U-turned the farmers to give yourself a chance at least but those other teams disliked you so much because you were such a ###### before they ensured you couldn't do that.
Ah well until next time.

Finally the two butt hole girls get last and Phil says "This is a non-elimination leg".
Dammit. I can't stand them; quite possibly the most annoying thing on television and that includes Snookie.

Good last episode to an otherwise mediocre season.
Great final challenge

Probably the weakest winners in the history of the race IMO. It was an ok season. I really wanted the Chippendales to win as they seemed like legit guys. I hope the next race brings some better casting.

Ugh the weakest team won, that's what happens when you have lame challenges.
I got tired of their whining and snapping at each other.
I will give credit, the Houdini road block was hella cool, but they must have gotten a briefing on how to escape before the challenge.
Its kind of sad that the trick that shocked the world by a great escape artist can be done by chippendale dancers, joe schmoes and a gay farmer now
I also don't think that they cinched up the arm straps, if I remember Houdini's secret is that he would dislocate his shoulder to get out.

Challenges were way too easy this season. The producers were conspiring to put the three final teams at the final challenge mere minutes apart to give "exciting" TV for the finale. Further to that they formed the race to allow a weak team to be in that situation in the hopes of one strong challenge could get them $1 mil. In the end I was left wondering why they wouldn't just have that challenge on day 1 and give out the million to whichever of the 12 teams won it.
I miss the days when Guido got stuck in Alaska a day behind the other finalists or when the Grandmas got to South Africa a day or two late. I think there was a father son team that was really really late getting to the UK as well. I understand the production problems such things can pose and understand that every once in awhile you need to "reset" the race with bunching points. I just don't think those bunching points should happen on the last leg and if they do make the last leg actually long with double the challenges.

The whole alliance thing was outright stupid as well.
It works in survivor, it doesn't work in the amazing race.
They have also softened up the ####### teams that used to be big in the amazing race. I think Rob and Amber were the last ones that looked at this show as a competition instead of a race and were basically telling bus drivers to slam the door in the face of other racers because they were in a race.

No doubt the "I think we should think about if we are being true to ourselves" BS needs to stop. It's a game. If making a temporary alliance for a leg helps you get through it then by all means but the nature of the game is that such things have to be temporary. You can't keep on doing it leg after leg.

I was rooting for the Chippendale boys, but oh well.
I agree with most in this thread that they need to bring back those challenges that bring people to the brink of their sanity and spend 8+ hours doing them.
The alliance stuff was garbage too, ruins the show and defeats the purpose of racing.
