Yep, pretty well known word in the service industry in the states. Another one is "Mondays", because "no one likes Mondays." Absolutely ridiculous and racist and from my experience, they tip just as well as anybody. I think a lot of servers have that mentality and treat their black tables worse and receive a tip accordingly.
