If the Canadians can pull this off it will be the Miracle on the Mat.

Just gotta remember they aren't supposed to be here. Play with nothing to lose and they can do this.

For a team that wasn't supposed to be there they played extremely well.

Maybe this will inspire more badminton players in canada? Hope so!

Go fight for bronze!

Incredible effort ladies, well done. Hopefully they can find the motivation to come back and win the bronze. Has Canada ever won a medal in badminton?

Great showing by the Canadians. Next up is the Russians in the bronze medal match. The Russians beat them pretty handily in the round robin but they got some momentum on their side, so you never know.

Michael Phelps gets his revenge on Ryan Lochte, winning the gold in the 200IM.

Canada has never won a badminton medal and haven't ever gotten this close at getting one.

Which is really sad. Why did we let in 50 million asians into Vancouver if they can't bring one badminton medal for Canada.

Because four years at UBC and then back to Hong Kong doesn't qualify for Canadian badminton team status

Just got out of my client meeting and heard on 960 Bruce Li lost to Japan, damn sounds like they gave a good effort against the favored Japanese duo. Now they battle the Russians for Bronze. It would awesome if they could pull off the Bronze win.
They should come out in the pregame warm up wearing Yellow and Black tracksuits like in "Game of Death" that would be classic.
