Yeah brawls in training camp are just so rare and only a team like the Jets would do it! Woah the Packers had a brawl in practice today? Guess you can't be a fan anymore.

"There was more jawing, pushing, and shoving going on in camp tonight. I'm not sure what exactly it was all tied to, but it was there. It even boiled over into a pretty good sized fight early on in camp. From what I saw it started between Jarius Wynn took exception to what an offensive lineman (I didn't quite catch the number) was doing. John Kuhn went to support the lineman and then suddenly everything became a blur of green and white jerseys in a large scrum on the field. After the fight things tended to cool down a little, but this was probably the most chippy practice I've seen thus far this year."

LOL..nice comparison....ther Jets had 20 going at it right near the fans.

Even Sanchez agrees fer chrissakes.

Sanchez is trying to be a leader. He has to say that, but every training camp brawls break out because the 2nd and 3rd stringers want to show fire to prove they belong there. Yes they got in a brawl on the sidelines near the fans, did you expect them to move further away and then get angry? You are worse than the media. This is a non-story with any other NFL team, but it's a headline because it's the Jets. You are on the haterade just like everyone else and because of that you can't see things reasonably.

Mike McCarthy on brawls "It's no different than fights. They happen. I'm not as concerned about when guys get into a fight. I'm more concerned about what happens once it started and how it's cleaned up. I think that tells you a little bit more about your people and that they're taking care of one another."

I am not hating on them for anything, but they make a very easy target because they are quickly becoming a running joke. Every other day its something new.

Serioiusly....on what other franchise would a CB claim he is the 2nd best receiver on his own team?? That;s gotta be good for team morale and bonding. LOL

The Jets ARE a circus, but not because of a fight in training camp. It's incredibly common for fights during training camp. And most of the time there are fans at Training camp, so we can also conclude that there are fights in front of fans at many training camps. What is different about the Jets is that they have dozens of media who have a sole objective of turning the Jets into an entertainment story, not a football story.

Rex has this coming, he deserves exactly this, so I have no sympathy for the Jets, but who cares about a training camp fight?

Agreed, nobody knows.

I was all for the original punishments when they were initially ordered, because I was under the assumption that the NFL had their ducks in a row. They clearly do not, and at this point I think they'd prefer to keep Roger Goodell out of that courtroom.

Sad, Bryant McKinnie is already basically broke before he retires.

Bryant McKinnie will have 50 percent of his eligible wages garnished this season, according to a settlement he reached with Pro Player Funding.McKinnie owes the New York-based company more than $4.5 million for loans he took out to cover costs during the NFL lockout last year. According to the NFL players association, McKinnie is scheduled to earn a base salary of $3.2 million this season. Court documents show he was eligible for a $1.5 million performance bonus on March 15, and a roster bonus of $500,000 on March 17. Both were garnished, but it is unclear exactly how much money Pro Player Funding will recover.

You are right the Jets are a circus I have never denied that, but read Flames in 07's post. You and the media are making a big deal out of nothing with the fight. The brawl doesn't mean anything more than it means when the other 31 teams have a brawl in camp.

Kenny Britt has to be one of the dumbest NFL players, if not the dumbest player in the NFL.

Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt took to social media on Wednesday to air out his frustration over a fine for missing an injury rehab session.

On his Instagram account, Britt posted a picture of a $9,915 fine on a piece of paper that says “2012 Tennessee Titans Fine Sheet.” Under the photo, Britt wrote: “Yu gotta be (expletive) kidding me.. walk back to dis.. Don’t dey know I have kids .. I’m tired of did (expletive).”

The fine was issued on Wednesday, after Britt apparently missed a rehab session on Tuesday.

In the photo on Britt’s Instagram page (kennyBritt18), the fine sheet says that his violation was “unexcused missed mandatory scheduled appointment w/club trainer.” It also says it was “Violation 1” for Britt.

Britt was in New York on Monday to meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell. The fourth-year pro was there to answer for a recent DUI charge, his eighth run-in with the law since the Titans drafted him in 2009.

The good news for the NFL is that the debate regarding replacement officials will soon move on from the question of whether Hall of Fame game referee Craig Ochoa was fired by the Lingerie Football League.

The bad news is that the league will be dealing with another replacement official’s recent past as a high-stakes poker player.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the locked-out officials will soon be making it known that Shannon Eastin, who will become the first female official to work an NFL game, has played in the World Series of Poker.

The NFLRA keeps trying to slam the replacement officials, but I can't imagine they'd be any worse than the refs from the NFLRA.

The thing is you were still wrong. A single brawl in camp is nothing and happens quite frequently in camps. Now if the fighting continues that is a problem and as you can see I freely admit that. You weren't causing the fighting, but you are the exact person the media is targeting when they sensationalize everything the Jets do. You buy it hook, line and sinker.
