First off, the lights in VW's are PURPLE! All VW owners deny this, but everyone else knows its true.
yeah, let's see who to believe....drivers who see the lights day in and out for years, or a guy like yourself who has probably seen it once or twice. and who cares anyway? would purple mean vw drivers are homos or something? [/b][/quote]
Hehe, another VW driver getting all defensive of their purple guages. My best friend had a Jetta 1.8T for a few years and another friend still has a 99.5 VR6 that he bought new. I've seen them enough times to know they are purple.

Homo?

Maybe. Jetta's are the most common car purchase for the homosexual community (No idea if that holds up for the new body style).

I also can't believe that someone called the Altima SE-R a log of shinguard. Toss one reason out... any one. This car out performs all of the others on my list in every category.

Their original price actually wasn't all that bad comparing to the other Honda/Acura dealers I've dealt with in the past, this is the first time I've opted for them, why not? I basically said I'll pay sticker for the car if you guys threw in everything else imaginable, and they did.

Homo? I don't know about that, but I do know VW boasts the most women registered owners in the United States by car brand in a recent report I read on MSN...don't have the link anymore but I thought it was quite amusing.

As for the Altima, I drove an Altima when the current gen first came out and the turning radius was dismal. You can't even do a U-turn in a 2 lane road in one turn. Maybe they've improved now but I'm still not a fan of Nissan, my first car was a '95 Pathfinder and what a piece that was.

I have the Graphite as i love it but you are correct about how it ages. EVERY little nick and scratch shows up big time. I have a 3M front but still...

Honda is notorious for not moving on the price so the fact you got anything for 'free' is impressive!
