Is it really? Many laws of physics actually follow whole number powers.

At Waterloo we get our percentages. However there is some slight curves as there are tests where the average is abnormally low and the professor will bump the average up to a 60ish percent.

For the sake of the students, I hope the Law faculty continues to use some sort of curve/scaling system that doesn't deviate too much from the current model. It could put U of A students at a disadvantage when trying to find articles (a process that is difficult enough as it already is).

Darn!

Just a year too late.

I remember taking a summer course a few years back that had 7 students in it. The average of the class HAD to be a B+. I was trying to convince the whole class to just write their name on the exam and then everyone would get a B+. That did not work, Always had those keeners that felt they needed to get an A.

But as a wise bathroom stall on campus told me....The curve only sucks if you're below average....

I always got that impression while I was reading a MacLeans magazine upside down.

I just did some reading, you are correct T^4 is not an approxamation. I was thinking that the T^4 only applied to ideal black bodies and it varied for non ideal bodies. When actually having a non-ideal body only applies a linear co-efficient to the front of the equation. I guess it shows that I haven't looked at any thermo in 10 years.

Isn't easy training the world's future bank robbers.

Gotta give them credit.
