Did he lose his eyes? I'm curious to see what doctors can even do to make him look human again

Edit: looked again (I wish I didn't) and I can see the right eye, not the left though

Wow, I'm so curious, but have not yet clicked on the image because I know I will regret it.

It looks like a Swedish berry

He'd be better off dead. I think I'd rather die than live the way he's going to now.

I don't know I saw some pictures of those two people that got facial transplants from Cadavers and while you can tell that its not natural, it wasn't a bad result.

I remember seeing a picture of a guy who tried to kill himself with a shot gun blast to the face and it was far worse then this.

Trying to find a "save face" pun for the victim, but not sure if I could redeem myself after that one.

There is another story out today of someone in New Jersey who was throwing their skin and intestines at police when they tried to arrest him. No joke.
Wouldn't be shocked if the guy was high on “bath salts".

WTF is wrong with people these days.

That said, I have a friend who is a firefighter, and said he has seen things in Calgary that most people don't know about and probably don't want to know. Gruesome stuff happens all the time apparently.

Does it involve Richard Grere and Gerbils?

The headline made me think of everyone's favourite website in the late 90s:

Not that it proves a connection, but Eugene (the attacker) was holding a bible and telling his girlfriend he loved her before she never saw him again. And that was at 5:30 AM to "go meet a friend".

http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/05...riend-saw-him/

Not sure what that involves, but Vince Li was also quoted as doing what he did in the name of religion. While this Miami case is fascinating, I believe it may have been an undiagnosed case of schizophrenia, much like Li's was. There are some similarities in their stories - ordinary, under-the-radar job; living with a wife; levels of paranoia; and friends/family who didn't suspect anything was wrong. Perhaps the Miami attacker was under the influence of drugs, but we'll wait for the autopsy to be completed.

What the hell is wrong with people these days.

That guys face is seriously f*$#(d up.

Apparently these "Bath Salts" are in the maritimes now too. I remember watching a story about Bath Salts (60 minutes or Dateline or something) about 8 months ago and basically everyone who does them ends up dead or killing someone else.

My girlfriend works in the ER. "Bath salts" are also growing in use in Calgary as well from what she's seeing, although she doesn't believe it's as psychosis-inducing as the media is making it out to be. However, that's not to say it's not dangerous.

My wife always makes me lug home kilos of epsom bath salts whenever I go shopping. Do I need to be concerned about this?
