Pujols has the worst WAR in baseball right now according to FanGraphs. I still think he will find his swing but it shows you how scary these long term big money contracts are, especially to players his age.

I'm not watching the game because they're not showing it out here but going by the box score Alvarez seems to be absolutely pounding the strike zone. 60 pitches, 47 of them strikes.

Alvarez still needs some fine tuning but his poise on the mound is incredible and he hardly walks any batters.

Jays haven't had a hit since that Bautista bomb. Be nice to get something going here, to avoid my blood pressure sky rocketing with Corderro having to come on and try and save a game.
