Same here, visibility was a concern the first time driving the car but one gets used to it and its blind spots rather quickly...especially when you have 426hp

Adjusting your seat lower and getting your sunroof tinted (so you can keep the shade open) are other ways that have worked to avoid the old reverse mohawk.

Ugggh, the Camaro's have horrible ergonomics, i cant stand them.

The Mustang is the clear winner in the Muscle Car category, every single review ive seen has it as leaps and bounds better than the Camaro and the Challenger.

just to high jack this thread:

I am looking at SUV's. Thinking of the Liberty or Escape or Xterra.

Thoughts on any of these vehicle or suggestions. I will be doing a lot of highway driving come hockey season.

Sister in law has a Liberty, and I've had a chance to borrow it a few times. It is by far one of the absolutely worst vehicles I've ever driven. The thing just feels so tipsy and boat-like on the road, I was never comfortable with it (especially on the highway). Plus I'm pretty sure the interior was manufactured by Fischer-Price. And to top it all of, it has terrible reliability.

Undercoverbrother - you should start a new thread on this...people on here love talking about Escapes and it is definitely worthy of a new thread.

IMO anything Chrysler is something to avoid, they all suffer from the same problems, cheap, unreliable, filled with gimmicky crap that looks nice on the showroom floor but tends to become broken/useless/annoying down the road.

The Xterra is ok but i dont think they have really modified them in a long long time. Once again the Ford's are nice.

I have a liberty, it has been real reliable so no complaints there. It is an uncomfortable ride and loves the petrol. thankfully I only use my Liberty for winter driving. I would go with the FORD if I was you. Whoops quoted the wrong person, but you get the jist.

Speaking of new Fords. The 2013 Fusion looks fantastic.

.
Looks awesome but how the hell does Prodrive (owners of Aston) not sue the living daylights out of Ford for their trademark grille shape? Something in the sale documents between Ford/Prodrive perhaps?

Just imagine if Geely or Kia did something like this - lawsuits galore (witness the Hummer/Jeep battles).

I really like the Xterra (don't own one) but one of the biggest down sides of it is the gas mileage. It's awful. 19 mpg city and 28 highway. And that is from Nissan, so you probably won't even hit that. I bet the liberty is not far behind.

Ford still owns a stake in Aston Martin.

I know they did... I didn't know they still do. That's cool.

Except now, everytime I see that front end, I have to look twice at the badge.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think the front of the current Ford Mondeo looked better than this new one. I'm getting a bit tired of the Aston look....especially on Astons.

My sister owns a Liberty and its probably got the least efficient V6 ever made... that thing guzzles gas like a V8.

Because its a stupid premise. If its big and heavy dont put a V6 in it, the smaller motor has to work at a higher capacity to deliver the required performance.

Well the Xterra has a 4.0L which is a big V6. That can't be undersized, can it?

Depends, its not necessarily all about size, its about RPM and power band.
