Alvarez's control is usually his trademark, could have gotten out of it had the Jays been able to work that double play. Only 1-0 though and I've got a good feeling about the bats today.

Maybe it's time to start calling them the Orioles again. They LOL's are actually doing pretty well against them.

As much as Bautista has struggled, he's still working the count nearly every time he's up to bat

1-1 after the 1st inning.

Nice to see the power still alive, will be a big plus when we start getting guys on base and all these solo shots start turning into 2 and 3 run blasts.

Through 2 innings Alvarez's fastball has been as low as 88mph and topped out at 97mph. What a great arm.

Jays have hit a few balls hard early. Maybe they'll be able to put a few runs on the board today.

No! That would have been sick to See Lawrie steal home.

Jays go from bases load one out with a 3-0 count to this.

I know he's struggling at the plate but how not really a fan of trying to steal home with the bases load and Bautista at bat.

The runs are coming and this offense is really about to explode, but so far it's been a frustrating 7 games at the plate.

Alvarez still struggling with control early on, hits another batter. 2-1 Jays but 2 on now for the OrioLOLes

Really should have let Bautista hit there.

Would have brought the house down had Lawrie been able to steal home. 2 out now and Alvarez has a chance to get out of the inning after allowing the first two batters on
