Agreed, poorly executed. Potentially intriguing concept though. There's some interesting episodes of Ancient Aliens every now and then that make me think "hey that would make a cool movie".
Many people criticised the Alien aspect when it came out. Not pointing any fingers at anyone in this thread.

I like the idea of the 4th one, but its just too much cgi and it loses all its credibility. The only part i liked was in the campus bar and the ensuing chase. That was classic Spielberg. The rest may as well be another tintin movie.
And what was the point of John Hurt? That guy used to be awesome, now I don't think he even reads scripts before accepting them.
I really like the second one. It's one continuous adventure and none of it is set in America so it kind of deviates from the formula (and Indy doesn't battle Nazis). The climax on the rope bridge is classic.

The Indiana Jones series always brings two things to mind for me: The ridiculous fridge scene, and that fugging annoying, whiny chick from the first(?) movie. Sorry Steven, but when your crappy movies are being mocked in World of Warcraft and pickle commercials, you know you've gone off the rails.
That said, Indy V will probably make $200 million without breaking a sweat.

I'll say, I really liked 4.
There, now flame away.
(However it was the worst of the 4 films IMHO)

Some sort of Shia Labeouf fan club I would gather? That sort of establishment would make the Manson family look like the Osmond's.

Sweet. That way I'll be able to enjoy any movie, regardless of its terribleness.

4 was great.
If people can't turn off their overly critical mind and enjoy a ridiculously over the top and silly film then I feel bad for them.

I thoroughly enjoyed all three Transformers films and Constantine, so count me in.

Haha, and when I read it, I had to do a double take at the avatar and username, because it sounded exactly like something VANFLAMESFAN would say.

So I guess anybody who can see through the shortcomings of KOTCS and enjoy it for what it is, is dumb then?

I've enjoyed all 4, but Temple of Doom is by far my least favorite. The Last Crusade is the best by far, Sean Connery is great in that movie.

I take back what I said about the crystal skull. I was just watching some of it on Showcase and had to turn it off.
