I'm a Liam and growing up I never knew someone with the same name as me (other than a certain famous actor), but now it's been the most popular guys name for the last couple years. Crazy.

Wow. And I thought I was given an unfortunate name.

I think I am going to name my child Twitter, you know, because it's trendy. Surprised nobody has given their child a hashtagged name yet. "#Stylez Marvin Smith! You get in here right now!"

I'm waiting for a pair of twins with the names Tweetledee and Twitledum - Parents can hashtag their middles names.

We are seriously considering Danger for a middle name just for giggles.

That would be a blues name, not funny or cool.

I enjoy the recent trend in the states to just tack Ja onto any guys name and try to make it unique like Jamichael or Jadarren. And by enjoy I mean think is ridiculous and worthy of mockery.

To really socially isolate your child and mess them up I figure you can't go wrong with historical figure first names. Little Copernicus Jackson is pretty much guaranteed to be a once in a generation leader in his field or a crackhead, I don't think there's going to be any middle ground.

I tried for the same, but couldn't finish the job. That would be awesome though and IMO your son would thank you for that when he is about 20 and trying to pick up chicks!

I think only my family knows my middle name. He could use it whenever it suits him. Might have issues crossing borders though.

Having a tough time coming up with a first name. Only two or three weeks to go.

If a name isn't "too weird/ uncommon/ embarrassing/ pretentious," it's "too boring/ common/ uncreative/ trendy."

Any NFL fan is well aware of the amazing names out there right now.

Case in point, D'brickashaw. That name creates it's own magnetic field of awesome.

Black people in the States have lost their minds when it comes to naming children.

Wait, are you telling me that D'brickashaw is black? Do you know how ridiculous you sound right now? C'mon.
