I'm suggesting that one broadcaster gets the rights for the game, and another broadcaster gets the rights for the commercials, and just airs normal Canadian commercials during the game. Of course, neither network would be happy, because people would just flip back and forth between the two.

Holy crap your right. I think it only showed during the pregame? Also the SMASH commercials were more limited then previous weeks. CTV promo of that show scared my hearing all month. I hate this simsub bs even more just for that commercial alone.
