Uh oh.... Another franchise where losing will become acceptable? Good news as a non-Stamps fan

Stamps announcement tomorrow involves some minority partners cashing out and Calgary Flames coming in for a bigger piece.

Worked for me just now but I don't go there that often with the new mods and down turn the site has taken recently.
I do know the original owner/moderate of the site wasn't around much (hence the worsening of mods/site) and that he did miss something he needed to do to keep site up last year. He was pretty quick about getting it resolved so might be better now.

Blah on the new jerseys. Bib piping isn't there, bib still basically is on the away. This was an oppotunity to do something new-ish and they didn't do much.
Main complain is far too much black. No need for all of it. Black for the sake of black, as its referred to. Do a black 3rd jersey/set, and leave it off the main set.
From the early pictures I don't see any color pants other than black...and they are the again the "leotard" black, with no pant stripe.
Could've done much better IMO, maybe simply by using less black and more red, including red pants for the white away jersey...toss in some retro silver trim, again instead of black. Maybe change the number font which, although unique, is a bit out there, and this was the time to change it.
Toronto and Ham, and to a point, the Esks (at least home jersey) got it right with their resdesign.
Riders are the absolute worst with the tramp stamp.

Don't like the two color lettering on the name bar -- the letters seem really spread out with the font and second color. Also, on the away jerseys, didn't they learn from the Flames in 03/04 that black letters/white outline on red will be hard to read?

Picked up a red Drew Tate jersey on the way home from work.
I like the home jersey (minus the number font) and I really like it paired with the solid black pants at home. However, I do not like the road jersey (especially with the horsehead 2nd logo staying on it) and I really do not like it paired with the solid white pants.
Love the 'Rider Tramp Stamp too

Stamps could have done much better with this new jersey. Really bland, away jersey looks the same as last year high schoolish. I would have liked to have seen stripping on both home and away on the sleeves and lose the freaking squared off bib it looks cheap.
JMO the Stamps still have the best logo in the CFL.

How does the new fit compare to the old? How's the material feel?

Can't really compare fit as I disliked the first Reebok design so much that I never considered buying one of those jerseys. The fit is great, the material is not the shiny stuff that was used on last year's model. The shoulders and black side panels are a material closer (but not exactly) to what you would find on a Flames replica jersey. The main body is a mesh, but again, diferent from last year's. Overall I prefer the materials they used this time compared to the previous model
The numbers and name on my Tate jersey are sewn on as opposed to heat pressed, and was pre-done. The other jerseys I remember seeing already personalized were Rambo, Lewis, Cornish, and Simpson. They also had blanks for sale. Not sure if heat sealed numbers will be available later on this summer.

I think they look sharp. They aren't stuck in the past with these designs. Only improvement I think would be a pant stripe but that's based on asome very static and boring pics off a white background. Let's see them in action first.
