Got Assassins creed from EB for $20
Kinect Sports season 2 from FS for $20
Harry Potter Deathly Hallows pt 2 for $14
Sectional from the Brick for $1100, regular $2200
Tried to find a Sony sound system but it was sold out everywhere. That part sucked.

The games and movie were all online so that saved me some hassle of going into the stores.

Yes if you are going to get a sex change you might as well spend the $70 on a hoodie to go with it.

kidding..

No hoodie is worth $70.

Got another 25" monitor for my office (boring.... I know)

We also got a second PVR - so the mrs is pretty happy about that

Flames jersey for $65 (can never have too many if those)

But the highlight for me was this.... We're in Vancouver visiting my brother-in-law and his family so we took the train into downtown Vancouver. We got off at some underground stop at a mall and headed outside. A few steps outside this mall and we're facing a London drugs and my wife blurts out, "I know where we are... This is where the riot was when the Canucks lost!"

It's a good thing I wasn't drinking anything becuz I would have spayed it everywhere.

No men's Lululemon hoodie is worth $70.
1. Yes, there are plenty of hoodies that are worth that and much more, if style/clothes is your thing. Just like someone can say no car is worth $50K, I drive a KIA that can take me anywhere your car can.

2. FYP for clarification on #1.

Where in Vancouver did you find the cheap Canucks jersey? And did they have any third jerseys?

My wife bought a new car, and it means freedom for me from being the designated family chauffeur every single day!

it was a flames jersey.... i have no use for canucks jerseys unless i run out of toilet paper

the store is 'blue line sportswear'.... i think it was in park royal mall (or something like that?!?!)... we hit quite a few malls so you'll have to forgive me.... i generally go into auto pilot mode when we enter malls. i have a very specific job though.... follow my wife, carry the clothes she wants to try on, purchase those clothes, then continue this pattern to the next store

the sale was boxing day only

they had all sorts of jerseys... mostly canuck stuff which is understandable... white and blue 'fail-whale' jerseys and the blue stick jersey.

i laughed when we entered the store... some lady was buying a canucks jersey AND a bruins jersey.... that would be an interesting household!!

Debating whether I should spent 70+ bucks on a pair of earphones, Bose to be specific... I already lost 3 pairs of Sony earbuds (15 bucks each).

Depends on priorities. I find a lot of people here seem to not mind paying a crapload for the the latest Iphone or Ipad every couple of years. A hoodie, if taken care of, can last longer than that. So in the grand scheme of things, I don't think $70 for a hoodie is that bad.

Weak, can't believe I made that mistake. Yes, I am looking for a Flames jersey. More specficially a retro-third jersey.

Lame that the sale was only one day though. They also have the worst website ever:
