Give these guys a try: http://www.thecostumeshoppe.com/ I know that they keep a dozen or so in stock. May not have exactly what you are looking for, but might have something that will do, or be close.

Cool, you're going as Abed from Community during the first season's Halloween episode!

I have no skill or imagination whatsoever for carving, I'll probably just do my standard Flames logo, it looks good and is fun up in Edmonton. 5 years here and not once has it got smashed, I'm almost disappointed. Wusses.

I am really glad I searched for that on Youtube. LOL.

Though just to be clear, I'm not brown.

Girls' Lululemons I found at Value Village, they worked perfectly. Had a tailor modify them so they fit over my shoulders and collarbone so you can't see anything when the jacket is on.

For the cape, I used a fabric outer shower curtain and have it attached to the jacket from the inside using safety pins.

How much is this thing going to cost after it's all done? The cowl is sweet.

It's done... and as far as cost, let's just say that this isn't one of those 'single use' costumes. But cost be damned, I've wanted a Batsuit since I was 4.

The suit is actually form-molded leather, designed to be a motorcycle riding suit with the design licensed from WB. I have any of the removable padding taken out of it, and I'll be putting it back in once I use it for riding.

Now my $60 FX contacts seem cheap in comparison, 'cause I know that Cowl would have been more than $400+ by itself.

Nope! Actually that was one of the cheaper parts of the costume.

$125 US on eBay.

If anyone wants a .zip file with hundreds of pumpkin carving templates to choose from, send me a PM.

These are the ones we carved last year. Mine was Mario and believe me, there is not an ounce of Martha Stewart-like craftiness in my body, so anyone can do it. The templates are the key. Pin them to the pumpkin and cut out the dark parts, that's all there is to it.

The Mario template looks like this....

You haven't carved a pumpkin until you use power tools.

I don't have a clue what to be for Halloween. I may have to rifle through this thread to find an idea. Otherwise, please send me some suggestions here!

Anyone know where I can get a cheap counterfit Canucks jersey? I'm talking a POS $20 jersey.

I'll post pictures of my (and my friend's) costumes when we're done. I'm sure you'll like what we're going as.

I also need: Goggles, Flippers, and an Anarchy flag.

Go to a pawn shop or some place and pick up the cheapest Jig saw you can find. You'll be impresseed how easy it is to carve with one of those.

Figured out my costume last night. It's cheap to put together and I'll have a go-to answer for all the inevitable times of being asked "Who are you supposed to be?"
