I'm a huge movie geek and get way too fanboyish over some actors but don't make that suggestion again. You need an education to be a doctor you don't need it to be a great actor.

There are many brilliant actors who had no formal training, Johnny Depp, Phillip Seymour-Hoffman, Sean Penn etc etc (it's a big list)

There are zero brilliant Doctors who had no education.
Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman

The great actors are De Niro, Pacino, Washington, Freeman, Spacey, Nicholson, Hopkins... the list goes on and on. Cohen does not belong on this list, not even close. How can you argue with this if you are a movie buff?

Great comedic actors tend to be great actors overall too.
OK then. Case closed.

Your list sucks by the way. Denzel Washington is pretty average and you're missing a tonne of guys not to mention guys like Deniro and Pacino well past their before before date.

insert passive-aggressive smiley face.

I think Nicolas Cage is the best actor to have ever lived.

Oh, and happy birthday, Freddie.

I'd also like to s/o a happy 70th birthday to Roger Waters!

Here I thought he was coming up with a list to play Freddie...

How did I not see this before? LOL! This is high comedy. There's no one close to Freddie.

That's a terrible list.

No, that's the thing. I've seen films in the last 20 years and know half those actors expired their best before dates prior to that.

The fact that Daniel Day-Lewis didn't make your list and Denzel Washington says it all.

I disagree, and I'm a huge U2 fan (I know U2 isn't that popular on CP).

No one will ever be close to Freddy's talent.

With all the medical questions that get asked on CP, I am willing to bet that lots of people don't really want a brilliant doctor, but would settle for something they can get without leaving the house.

I picked this concert DVD up a few years ago for $10 - have seen it around for less now, $7.99, even $5.

Just a great show, and proves what a showman he really was, in an era before technology became the show...

If you come across it, pick it up and enjoy.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

You cannot label anybody as the best talent, it is all a matter of opinion. Personally for me with the passion and skill he had, Steve Perry is my #1. Mercury takes 2nd.

Ive been a huge fan of Freddie and Queen since I first heard them on my cousins record player when I was about 9 yrs old. Just about every video in this thread gives me chills. Thank God Freddie and Brian got together.

Actually you can, what you can't do is get upset if someone disagrees with your opinion. Unlike lake communities, talent is subjective.
