So Setanta is now on free preview, even with Shaw (channel 154). Your guide on your cable/satellite box may not be updated (same with the TSN/Sportsnet fixtures) quite yet though, so if you're recording any games, do so by manually setting a recording. Setanta has a few live games this weekend, plus the others on delay. No word on HD, unfortunately.

Also, even though live only audio commentary of matches is always a disappointment in the UK due to the online rights being sold to subscription-only services, I have found a couple of sources that are carrying a match of the week. Absolute Radio was supposed to be doing the Spurs match, but now they're doing Norwich/Wigan. They also have a "Rock n Roll Football" show on another stream Saturdays during the matches that is apparently part music, part scores, and part analysis with host Ian Wright. Also, on Radio 5 Live they have live commentary of Liverpool/Sunderland. And on TalkSport is broadcasting Newcastle/Arsenal. Links are available through the official BPL site: http://www.premierleague.com/page/Radio/

I am cautiously optimistic that these streams will be available outside of the UK because usually they are blocked due to contractual reasons, and not necessarily geographic ones, and these sites obviously have the rights to broadcast a game of the week online. I guess that we'll see tomorrow. Clearly, the preference would be to watch the games live, but sometimes you might need to use the iPhone in the car or something.

Letting Barton leave for free if hew wants, not signing Nolan, the initial sacking of the manager for Pardew, the selling of Carroll and now Jose Enrique.

Its like he really hates this club and just bought it so he could burn it to the ground.

the argument for not buying after the Carroll money is that it's being used to cover operating costs

which he knows is a lie because they make more than enough in gate and tv money to do that

he is the worst

Taking the Arse's sloppy seconds, but its better than what you've got.

Also, I can fully sympathize. Liverpool fans well know the pain and damage that accompany poor ownership and management.

with the service he's gonna get from Welsh jesus, the croatian sensation, VdV, and Lennon he should score 20 at a minimum, will be properly motivated as well (which has always been his problem)

also, Robbie Keane found his level, the MLS

he's going to the LA Galaxy

Keane's last few years with the club weren't prolific, but his last mission in claret and blue was a complete success

QPR got a rude welcome back into the top flight. Petrov's antics for Bolton at the end were pretty disgusting. Diving to try and raw a penalty in a 4-0 game, and then diving to draw a straight red with a minute or two left, after he was the one who had his arms/elbows up in the first place.

I was bored at work so I decided to stream some football.

Wow, I wish the NHL or CFL had this many streamers! There's like 50 to choose from and the Newcastle/Arsenal feed I'm watching is amazing quality.

What a joke Barton is. Starts a fight and gets a yellow, dives like a Canuck and draws a red.

Ugh if Barton breaks his leg and never plays again the Premiership will be a far better place.

FootballRamble
Joey Barton goes mental at Gervinho diving then dives to get Gervinho sent off. Hypocrisy, ladies and gentlemen.

That about sums it up.

Song somehow didn't get sent off either.

Don't know how arsenal can complain though. Barton was bad but song should have gotten a red and a slap like gervinho did is always a red
