The long bomb Burris play cost us big time, don't understand that call at all. You have the lead, slowly march the ball down the field, or at least pick up a couple of 1st downs and kick the ball away. Why go for an 80 yard play when you have the lead? Just dumb.

This loss is on Huff. The only time a 76% field goal kicker sticks with a team is when the team used a 1st round pick on him. It's been clear for a long time that Maver is going to cost this team games and that was proven as soon as the first game.

I don't disagree, the entire offence was terrible. The o-line needs a couple of injured players to get healthy fast but 3 missed FGs and they lost by 2 points.

In the long run, this game wont mean much, thankfully it will show that Maver is not good enough (unless he is seriously injured, so he shouldnt be kicking anyway though right? ugh)
Huff needs to show me more.
Same goes for Dickenson.

I know im rambling here, but in the CFL 6/8 teams make the playoffs. You could be awful during the first half of the year, but if you are good during the end of the season and make the playoffs anything can happen.

The Stampeders didnt turn it on until the 4th..not sure why..
Im not worried, they will get it going.
