Ducay they definitly still have no idea as they keep emailing me to make sure they still have the property. But alas it is illegal so I will just tell them that their employment references did not check out and thus won't be renting to them.

Sorry if I upset you Ducay this has been my first problem in 3 years of being a landlord of 2 properties I guess 3 if you count me renting rooms out in my actual house as well at same time.

I have also reported their Kijiji adds as fake

All ready told them off and have accepted a deposit to hold rental on a family with an actual confirmed job! Just checking out the remaning references but it looks good as of now
