Dunno, some real-life events just aren't funny. To each their own, but I tend to draw the line at violent and/or sexual crimes (allegedly).

Everything would be out of bounds if we catered to the sensitivities of every member. I know people who have killed themselves so I stay out of suicide threads. I frankly don't even like seeing that word in the subject line when they're on the first page.

If the topic of sexual assault is sensitive for you it's probably a good idea to stay out of these threads. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk by saying that, I mean it sincerely.

I'm not entirely sure that (alleged) sexual abuse is ever funny, but certainly not in a clear-cut case of Authority v. Vulnerability. I just don't see where the humor comes from in this case.

I've made this point in the past, and I'll reiterate it. The fact that Pedo Bear and Pedo Jokes show up on this forum is pretty pathetic. I'm amazed that Bingo let's it happen.....I'd bring down the Mega-Banhammer on people who post Pedo Bear (etc) stuff because they think it's funny.

All over the papers and Twitter the last few days, so yeah. Definitely not the public outcry like there would be if the coach was a dude.
