They said it takes about 5-10 minutes to fix a pothole. Now if city workers where not a bunch of lazy bums, and one of the slowest in response times then this would not be such a huge problem.

The city roads guy was on tv saying how people are over stating the fact that there is more then the previous year, said its the same amount.

They have to wait for the temperatures to rise and for the precipitation to melt in order to fix the potholes or else they are using cold mix which last for a very short period of time so it isn't worth it financially to be running crews filling potholes when you get a cold day or two and everything was for not. Have some patience, slow down a bit and you will be fine.
