Don't say something totally stupid and moronic and then hide behind it by pretending it was just a joke.

If its not meant to be ingested, it should not be in the water supply. Simple.

Sure, but that could easily being the anti-fluoride camp being more vocal and engaged. Calgary isn't Lethbridge, and every time the fluoride issue in Calgary has gone to plebiscite the public has voted in favor of fluoridation.

Can we maybe have a poll on whether people agree with it or not? Not that it matters, but just curious.

That's complete and utter nonsense and not helping with the credibility of your opinions expressed here.

Dentists ARE real doctors. They goto medical school for parts of their schooling and have many of the same courses and requirements before they branch off and specialize into dentistry. They are just focused on the mouth and teeth like a podiatrist focuses on feet.

My friends and relatives who are dentists interned at hospitals in Edmonton and Melbourne because regular doctors do not have the expertise when it comes to the mouth.

Mikey is clearly a parody character like Colbert. Nearly every fact he alleges on CP is demonstrably wrong.

This place would be boring if we all agreed. I like Mikey the Redneck even though he is usually wrong. Someone needs to play Devil's advocate and he does a darn good job of it.

Yeah, because if their wasn't someone playing devil's advocate here we would all get along and agree.

I am curious as to when the last time a plebiscite was done.

Over time, study and research has been revealing the dangers of fluoride. Maybe the public needs updated information on this topic.

As you know, alot of yesterday's tried and true science often becomes old wives tales down the road.

The reason for my jab at dentists is that they (throught their Dental Associtasion institutions) have fully endorsed the ingestion of an industrial waste and not respecting the work of brain doctors, cancer doctors etc. who are revealing this stuff to be detrimental to our health.
