I still don't think it'll snow too much. This is Calgary in late January. It's not May.

Coming down pretty good, Highways are all snowy with no plowing yet. Its light fluffy snow though so itll pack down into 2-3 cms from 10.

This just figures. My parents leave town yesterday, and now I'll have to go over to their place to shovel. They have impeccable timing, I think the last snow storm happened right after they flew to Phoenix..

I'm in Mckenzie and we got a good amount over night, probably 5-10 CM and it's still coming down quite consistently.

Supposed to continue all day and into the night.

I like a good dump of snow!

The roads are total crap. At least they were when I drove to work at 6:30 this morning. There is so much snow on the roads it is hard to get any traction.

Nice powdery crap falling from the sky in Leth.
The roads are slippery like snot on a doorknob.
Good times, good times.

Got up and looked out the window this morning. While it's quite pretty, I'm glad my plans for this weekend were pretty much "stay inside".

Definitely got the 25cm out here in the boonies east of the city. Guess I won't be going anywhere today.

I have new winter tires so I'm not too worried. It's just freaking cold and I don't want to brush off my car. I always manage to get covered in snow in the process.

Had no problem driving around south and west of Okotoks this morning. X country skiing around the acreage with the monster great Pyrenees and a Labrador retriever we're babysitter for a few days will cool the afternoon.

What the hell happened last night (Friday) on Deerfoot? I left a friend's house and traffic was gridlocked from 64th ave to as far as I could see. I got off and took 52nd to my parent's house in McKenzie and stayed there instead of going home. Did anyone get caught in that jam?

Saw it going NB. Massive accident near Memorial(?). They shut down all three lanes, and were detouring.

I was getting worried that if it stayed warm too long we'd lose the nice white snow cover on the local dogwalk where I get my daily exercise with my yellow lab. So I'm happy to see the snow return, and get rid of the developing sloppiness.

I avoid dog parks like the plague when they are remotely sloppy. My dog is a mud magnet and loves to roll in anything and everything. Fluffy winter dog park days are the best.
