Keetly injured his leg last game and left just before overtime mentioned 3/4 down in this article http://www.abbotsfordheat.com/News/M...ERHEATSHOOTOUT

It doesn't say how serious the injury is.

Only four games played but Irving with a healthy 1.89 GAA and a .938 sv%. Good stats.

For those wanting to watch Heat or other AHL highlights, it's good quality and it's free. There are also other options for watching AHL games live for a price.

Backlund with his first AHL goal tonight...Abbotsford leads 7-4 late in the third.

Keith Aulie has also scored - is that his first?

For posterity's sake, I've added this and the Heat's Youtube Channel to the first post in the thread.

Nick Larson scores his first collegiate goal (the winner) Friday night, as Notre Dame blanks Providence 2-0.

Greg nemisz with 1g 2a today, putting him 4th in OHL goals and points (12g 23pt in 16 games). this is the kind of season he needs to have if he's going to end up a top 6er with us.

TJ brodie with an assist, giving him 16 pt in 14 games, also good for 4th in defensemen scoring

How's Backlund looking?

He hasn't got off to a very good start offensively, lets hope that picks up.

Actually if you take out his first few games he has basically been a PPG player, getting points in most of the last few games. Looks like his learning curve is adapting.

In all fairness to the man from what I've read elsewhere he spent a fair number of those pointless games he had with Grantham and Cunning as his even-strength linemates. I have no idea why a bluechipper like backlund was playing with a rookie enforcer and likely career AHL grinder but he was.
