Even watching the young guys this year which is almost entirely the only reason I bother tuning in there ain't much there. Maybe Wolf. Maybe a couple of the young guys are 2nd liners. Really hoping that the draft and the crop of dmen they added have a couple of standouts or that some of those who look to not have top line / top pairing ceiling really progress next year.

What made him so elite in Florida is that he likes to against the seam leading to high risk/reward plays. Calgary doesn’t have the system or players to do that. He would rather make a high risk pass that’s higher percentage of going in then a low risk pass.

Kuzmenko is probably the player I'm most excited to watch next season.

I get trading him at the deadline if he's put up big numbers and he wants a ridiculous pricetag for an extension, but I really don't see him having a negative impact on this team's morale or being a poor role model for the kids.
