Mixed feelings. I want to see all the kids. But what a big giant middle finger to ruzicka and Pelletier that they get on the ice now that nothing matters.

Ruzicka was pretty terrible after being bumped to the third line. I don't think he deserved to be bumped down at that point but his reaction of showing no effort or interest didn't help him.

Win or lose tomorrow I don’t care, I’m stoked to see what these guys can bring at the NHL level.

Technically, Wolf has already been backup to both Markstrom and Vladar in NHL games.

Really curious to see how Wolf does. He’s been a beast at every level.

Hopefully they don’t dress a scrub D corp

Looking at his career stats from the WHL and AHL:

192W 53L with 31 shutouts. Lowest save percentage of .924. Averaging around .935.

GAA of 1.69 in 61 games one year. I don’t care what league that’s in. It’s an insane stat.

Guy is a winner. Easily our best prospect. 6’ 156 lbs though is wirey

Incredible how much leeway Ritchie got immediately after coming to the Flames.

He was given priority over all the young players that diligently worked their way in.

You could tell Sutter just crushed on him because he was a big body that could skate, never mind if he hurt them with a lack of discipline or just wasn't that great in general.

Got significant PP minutes right off the bat without earning them first.

I really hate how Sutter makes exceptions for certain guys and I think that's why he's probably a bit poisonous in the room.

It actually makes a lot of sense when you think about that from a players standpoint.

At least Sutter can't break Pelletier's enthusiastic spirit with his BS.

You mean at least he hasn't YET. Given time, he will. Sutter has always had a shelf life. It was just shorter than we all expected this time.

Wranglers have their first playoff game tonight so I’m surprised they would have wolf miss that. Hope the team does well without him and sets up a good game for the weekend!

Geez. Are those numbers real? Wolf has only 22 more losses than shutouts in 245 games!

They have 3 regular season games left.

What an absolutely lights out pick Wolf was, based on form to date and potential. May still not pan out but to get any sort of NHLer that late is found money. Given that I missed him when I went to watch the wranglers earlier this year, I'm really looking forward to seeing him.

Look on hockeyDB. His stats are insane.

If he can transfer it to the big show it’ll change the team overnight. I’m really curious to see what happens tonight.

NHL politics are so weird - both these players should’ve already been playing. Wolf like 3-4 months ago. Oh well, will be exciting to see what they bring in a short time, hopefully some encouragement for next year.
