Baby Flames are starting to wake up. Chances by Acolaste, Arnold and Elson.

Bill Arnold took a puck up in the face and is skating off slowly to the bench. PBP guy seems to think in the nose/teeth area. He is getting medical attention on the bench.

No split goaltenders tonight, Thiessen will play the entire game.

Agostino, Cundari and Acolaste seem to be the most mentioned players for getting things gone. Hanowski, Seiloff and Elson also seem to be getting things done.

Oh and "Gillies" and "dumb penalties" also becoming synonymous early on.

This is it. They only had 2 preseason games on the schedule.

Regular season opens October 10th against the Rochester Americans.

FLAMES GOAL!

1-2 Comets

CORBAN KNIGHT!

Goal scored on a 6 on 5 after a delayed penalty call against the Comets. Flames pressure caused the penalty to the Comets and they stuffed it in.

Crowd was deafening on the feed.
